Are you having a Total Joint Replacement? Are you an active individual who wants to run a 5K, play pickleball in the park, maybe golf once or twice a week? Perhaps you want to function more efficiently at work, or just help out with the kids more. This video is specifically designed for patients who want to maintain an active lifestyle following their surgery. We will discuss rehab priorities including developing muscular strength, joint stability, and improving your balance. We will also identify the top 5 strength exercises for your specific joint replacement. This video features Jen Frank, a Physical Therapist who specializes in movement assessments and rehabilitation, as well as, Thomas Truedson, a Licensed Athletic Trainer who specializes in sports rehab and strength & conditioning.

This is a strength training program specifically for patients who have recently had Total Joint Replacement surgery. We collaborate with your surgeon and Physical Therapist to help advance the rehab exercises you have already completed in the PT clinic. We pick up where your PT left off in order to get you back to doing what you love. In this small group setting we will continue to address strength deficits, work on your balance & stability, and help to improve your performance.
Participants typically join this group 4-6 weeks post-surgery. If you are interested, please watch our "Total Joint Strength Video," for more information, or during your 6-week follow-up appointment, ask your surgeon if this program would be right for you. The ideal participant is a relatively healthy individual looking to maintain their active lifestyle.
A typical workout session will involve dynamic warm-up movements, a number of strengthening exercises, balance & stability work, and then finish with some gentle static stretching.
This program is run by Jen Frank, a Physical Therapist who specializes in movement assessments and rehabilitation, and Thomas Truedson, a Licensed Athletic Trainer who specializes in sports rehab and strength & conditioning.

Tuesdays: 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM
Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM
One Session: $15
Monthly Package of 8 Sessions: $80
We do NOT accept insurance.
Class is limited to 10 participants per session.
